lo bock

had the card in for 5 days now and so far i know the following things

1) its a hell of a lot quiter then my x1900xt, need the mobo splash screen to remind me i have switched on the pc

2) from recent bench marks in custompc the power consumed is much lower

3) runs css on full settings as 150 - 200 fps on 1280x1024
apart from the noise level I'm not seeing much there that an x1950 pro doesn't do...

we're not really gonna know til there's a proper direct-x 10 game out

NVIDIA direct-x 10 cards run direct-x 9 games better than ATi direct-x 10 cards....but what the heck does that mean ?

still sitting on the fence on this one

did see a large drop in frames in Company of Heroes pre and post DX10 patch (version 1.70 i think)  but it seems dx10 performance is the main focus of the forceware updates for the next few months
