Got one at work and I have to say, it's actually pretty damn good

Poke - you don't have to have your mouse in the middle of the desk to use it do you ? No really - it works, it's like a force-feedback 3D mouse and very easy to use, tried it about a year or so ago. Works with Halflife2 engine perfectly - recoil on guns is excellent and for example if you pick up a barrel as opposed to a plank, it feels heavier with more inertia. Was getting headshots within a clip or two. If I had money to burn, I'd be tempted.
Only thing with it is that you have to keep your arm raised instead of resting on the desk (cos it's all 3D-ish) so you use more muscles in your arm than with a mouse. |
