| Hello peeps... u can probly guess what this post is going to be about...
I was talking to a few of my EvE whores and been thinking.. C5 are only truly together when where tearing through each others body armour with AK47 and AWPs..
When ever we get a new game we play it for a little while and peeps get bored of it.. and not everybody buys the new game anyways..COD 4 was the most recent one and we all had our fun with it. i think every member of C5 has CSS and altho we all love to hate it.. lets face it..its still a great game to this day and it seems to be the best game to keep C5 together.. cant remember the last time i played a game with Clock Peachy let alone the old Loen guys.. I say as much as we hate the game lets blow the dist back off it and get pwning again....(it will also make me pull my finger out and carry on with the Clone 5 map i started making ages ago)

at least the novelty of cod4 covers over all the lame noobtoobing etc, whereas in css i see every little moronic thing and get fed up in 1:30mins.

Thing with CSS is where we have our own server we can control what happens on it.. we can ban noobtubes ect... i do think COD4 is the better game but not many of C5 have it and play it as much as we used to on CSS... im buying my mates old setup off him for £100 and its 10 times better then my heap of crap lol so ill be able to play COD4 on the PC now... but then i dont get to use my uber rankings that i got on the 360

the people I see who actually bother to connect to vent (varp, tongeh, jellor, goraq, nemo, 3of5, funkus all have it....... who else in C5 is there who can't not have it ????

| in answer to that Pairo, most of our adopted brethren from the artists-formerly-known-as-LoEN don't have it, and they're just as much part of C5 as you and I - in fact, they're about the only peeps I see using css, and they pop on vent for a quick chat on a regular basis.
I think we're all just having a bit of a sabbatical for various reasons/games... I'm sadly covered in seamen playing POTBS cos the other rpg'ers wanted to play. i'd sooner play a better, more polished, game like EQ2 but it seems they'd sooner stick with linear 'just slightly different to the last one' ship combat.. crappy bugs, and wind in yer face... gets a bit dull after a while. I could play EQ2 on my own, but thats a bit like a one-man mexican wave, not quite as impressive or effective. | |

| my point was that those that do play COD4, do, those that don't, don't. Which is not a problem. the column and lons crews were always going to be a bit parted because of existing social groups upon joining, that's not a problem (for me, or others I would assume), and not playing COD4 isn't, until people pipe up and rally a call for it, or old games, like CSS.

CSS 'was' good, but it's not anymore, hence I don't play it (regularly, I have no problem with a 're-union with it, but i've hardly been parted from it to warrant one yet.)
COD4 'is' good, hence why I play it.
One day it 'won't be, but until then......
