Well, first of all hey everyone. Might as well get right to the point Swifty has informed me just a few minutes ago that I am to be banned from your CSS server, due to a VAC ban on my old account. I read what Swifty said in Legends post, and to some extent I agree, but I was hoping to try and persuade you to think otherwise It was a mixture of curiosity/stupidity that I used cheats on CSS. This inevitably got me a VAC ban. So I decided to buy another copy of CSS with the intention of not going anywhere near cheats again. I haven't yet, and have no desire to do so far into the future. I have also only just recently started playing on your server, which is a blessing in disguise, as I can play with my old CSS buddies from days gone by. I've enjoyed it and was hoping to continue enjoying it until this ban occured. Now from your point of view I agree, those who were stupid enough to use cheats in the past don't deserve to play on your server, but is there any chance of giving a guy a second chance? You'll have to take my word for it that I don't touch cheats. I post this as a plea, a request to consider unbanning me. If there will not be a consideration, then hey, at least I tried. Would be good to get back on the server with you guys. Hope to hear from you soon. Kaly

Hi Kaly. I think you know where I especially stand on cheats (^^ GCHQ) but you deserve credit, after the familiarity we have had with numerous people getting VAC'ed you and that old ManUni guy are the only people who have actually had the guts to admit it whilst the rest treat us with contempt like we were born yesterday

Thank you for your concise and honest post Kaly. The decision to ban you due to a previous VAC offence still stands. If I may explain why; Your comment - It was a mixture of curiosity/stupidity that I used cheats on CSS. This inevitably got me a VAC ban. As an Admin pointed out there were multiple ways for you to investigate cheats and what they do. Either by reading online, youtube (excellent for learning the signs of a hax) or by purchasing another copy, using a different persona and letting your friends know what you are doing to ensure there are no mistakes. You used it to further yourself with improved scores whilst deceiving all your gaming friends at the same time. I know it was a while ago but FFS, it is only a game. We all make mistakes, but this I am afraid is a tad to far. Once again, thanks for a thoughtful post and all the best! Swifty
