Kinda filmy-cartoony but very entertaining

Have yet to try Versus mode (where another person plays a "boss" zombie to try and prevent you reaching the exit) but the Campaign story mode is a hoot with a few friends
(and it's nice to catch up with some old steam buddies too)

If you've the spare cash it's entertaining, but probably should be priced around £25 rather than £35 to keep up with the competition.

It does co-op very well and the "director" gameplay system to ensure a balance between maximum tension and hectic blast-anything-that-moves is very well done.
