It's definately a slow-burner

Starting impressions were - bleh, just another Wow-clone (I know it's a cliche, but I did find it crossing my mind)
However, as time's gone on and more and more facets are revealed you realise this is a very sophisticated game.  Loads of layers to it, many of which have yet to come into force.  For example the city levels causing different sections of the city to unlock.  Specific items for Tome of Knowledge unlocks (check in the library for these).

Very enjoyable.  The RvR is definately what wasn't well handled in Age of Conan (though the graphics were awesome).
