Adding friends only seems to work when u'r both online/signed in

Favourites and history is knackered.

Pings in the server browser may or may not appear depending on network setup and admin permissions for the xecutable and vccred (visual c++ widget) though then steam will bork

Sign in was off on Friday night while they patched all the servers to version 5 (it came back on about 1 am).

All that said, it's a lovely looking and playing game.  Almost more frustrating cos u know how much fun it'd be if only you could find/get on a server...

(love the two MW2 jibes in the single-player too: "they'd probably send in some special forces pussies with heartbeat monitors" and "snowmobile races are for pussies"

well i actually got to play more then 1 map today and i must say it is awesome , loving the rpg and the gun possition in the abrams , not so good with the sniper but getting there

really tempted to hook this up to my 40" and surround sound

Must catch you lot for some Squad DM - a good team could work wonders on there (instead of consisting of me and 3 incompetant snipers). You can have some real fun on hardcore squad dm servers with a shotty and a .44 magnum  ...

This is a guide for removing the heavy mouse smoothing in BC2 and I can confirm it feels a hell of a lot better since tweaking the cfgs - it should also make the heli a lot more flyable with mouse but I've yet to test that

[edit] yup, can confirm it works well for air - just had some real fun with the Hind chewing up enemy helos, tanks and infantry with ease
